Wonder how many animals died while PETA chases this publicity stunt?
Remember back in May when newspapers across the country covered the tactless “SeaWorld Sucks” prank? You know, the one that defaced public property and put human lives at risk?
Well, ladies and gentleman, we finally have a culprit.
Steve-O, one of the the great thinkers of our time and stars of the movie ‘Jackass’, posted a Youtube video last week that shows him climbing the exit sign on southbound Interstate 5 determined to express his hate for SeaWorld in the most immature manner possible.
Remember, it’s all about saving animals, not personal publicity – right?
By making a spectacle out of himself duct-taping a banner to the sign to force the message, “SeaWorld Sucks” on the interstate, Steve-O endangered drivers and violated public safety. Frankly, he’s lucky nobody was hurt.
So, who is going to take responsibility?
PETA, natch.
Yep, PETA will dig into their pockets and fork out the change to pay for this defaming prank. You know, the change you gave them to save that puppy and kitten? Oh, about puppies and kittens.
Steve-O’s partnership with PETA is no secret. The corrupt animal rights activist organization has pledged their support for the ‘Jackass’ star’s rumored impending fines, totaling $7,000…ahem, the animals remember?
Both this wunderkind of intellect and the animal murdering organization only care about one thing – publicity.
The fact the PETA got busted killing 95% of their shelter pets because they didn’t want to waste the money on caring for animals is bad enough, but saving this Jackass is just the pièce de résistance.
But remember, PETA doesn’t care what animals lives or dies – as long as you puppets keep falling for their gimmick.
Chief Steve Saville of the Caltrans District 11 Public Information Office made a statement concerning potential ramifications for Steve-O’s actions:
“We consider defacing public property at a cost to state taxpayers an unlawful act and a dangerous distraction for motorists. We will refer all information to the California Highway Patrol.”
It is yet to be determined whether or not charges will be filed.
News channels have also reached out to SeaWorld last week for comment but a spokesperson said the park would not be making a statement. And you know what? Good for them.
SeaWorld doesn’t need to say a word. This kind of stupidity speaks for itself.
Can we just collectively tell PETA to shut up and go away already?
